MARKS & SPENCER chairman Luc Vandevelde has raised Pounds 200million for an investment fund he is starting.
CHANGE CAPITAL PARTNERS will bid for store groups and consumer goods makers with which the stock market has fallen out of love.
Most of the cash is coming from France's super-rich Halley family, which owns the PROMODES supermarket where Mr Vandevelde worked before joining Marks in February, 2000.
